Pattaya - Eastcoast Thailand

Pattaya offers year-round kitesurfing opportunity with moderate to highwind of 8 to 20 knots.  Peak seasons are summer (March to May) with Northwest side-onshore; and winter (December to February) offering an easy-to-learn west onshore wind at knee-deep water.  Three launch spots and kitesurfing clubs offer training and equipment rental and sales, for beginner to advance level surfers.  On a light-wind day, things to do include bowling, golfing, cable skiing, shooting, shopping, and cultural activities.

HuaHin - Westcoast Thailand

One of early-days kitesurfing spots in Thailand is Hua Hin.  With wide and long white sand beach offers all level kitesurfers fun and memorable experience six months a year.  Approximately four-mile long with three kitesurfing schools offering lessons and equipment rental.  HuaHin kitesurfing season starts from December to May.  East and Northeast winds of 8 to 20 knots blowing from December to February, with small surf like a ramp for Big-Air tricks .  From March to May winds change to 10-18 knots from Southeast with small shore-breaks to flat water, and wider beach .  At night HuaHin offers good seafoods and a 'not-to-miss' HuaHin night market showcasing authentic Thai food, fruits and desserts.

Baan Krut.

Baan Krut is about 100 kilometers south of HuaHin. It is considered a new beach town with limited amenities but providing great relaxing admosphere.  With average wind speed of 15-25 knots in high season, and about knee to chest deep water level, it is certainly a great kitesufing spot for all level kitesurfers.  Everything here including food and accomodation are reasonably inexpensive.  If you are looking for a place to enjoy the natural setting, sharpen your kitesuring skill where not many people can see and criticize your move, or drop like a rock to the water, Baan Krut must be one of your kitesurfing destinations in Thailand.
